Our First Product

Pulihora Pachadi
by TamarindJar

TamarindJar is a Telugu food brand. Our first product is the Pulihora Pachadi — an authentic tamarind rice paste rooted in Telugu culture, also known as Puliyogare or Pulikachal across South India.

Made by slow-cooking tamarind, red chillies, peanuts, chana dal, curry leaves, mustard seeds, and oil until the flavours deepen and the oil separates — a sign of authentic perfection.

Just mix a spoonful with cooked rice, rest for 2 minutes, and serve. The iconic Pulihora of Telugu temples and grandmothers' kitchens — ready in your home.

Our Heritage

From Telugu
Kitchens to Your Table

Pulihora is not just food. It is Ammamma's hands, the smell of the kitchen, and every temple visit we never forgot.

In Telugu homes, Pulihora has always meant something more than a meal. It is the first thing made for Ugadi. It is what fills the dabba on long train journeys. It is what the temple gives you with both hands.

TamarindJar was born to keep that tradition alive. Our Pulihora Pachadi is just the first product — slow-cooked, honest, and tasting exactly like it should. Many more are on the way.
